This year, the workshop was held online as a joint event hosted by Technical University of Denmark and Okayama University, Japan.
During the three days of the workshop (26th-28th of October), people from academia and industry presented their work and found out about other groups' research in the area of Functional Modelling.
The fact that the event was held online made participation easier, thus people from 11 countries around the world tuned in to listen to the presentations. It was impressive to see the record number of participants even though, (for some of them) the workshop hours were way outside of their working hours.
Out of the six sessions, two of them were focused on foundations, methodology and tools of functional modelling, while the rest were focused on functional modelling applications. Following last year's example, we included a presentation from our industrial partner, Kairos Technology, in which Claus Myllerup made a demonstration of their MFM-based product, Control Room Assistant.
