AlarmTracker

AlarmTracker is a project in collaboration with the Norwegian company Kairos Technology (former Eldor Technology), the Danish Hydrocarbon Research and Technology Centre, Total and ConocoPhillips, with support from The Norwegian Research council as a part of the Demo2000 programme. The project started in 2012 and aims to develop a new product that supports the operators in making the right decisions in abnormal situations.

The team of researchers at DTU Electrical Engineering is working closely with Kairos Technology to develop a software solution that uses existing plant knowledge to investigate root causes of plant disturbances, their consequences and to suggest the recommended course of action. The first version of the product (Control Room Assistant) is already available on the market. You can read more about it here.

AlarmTracker is also part of the Water Management project.
